Was somewhat startled by the $17 pulled pork takeaway price, until I got home and saw that the sandwich can easily feed two people. The cajun rice is excellent as well with meaty chunks of sausage. Have heard folks disappointed with in-house service. But the takeout is pretty darned good!!
If you like yummy comfort food and super big servings you'll love this place! It's our 3rd time here and our 3rd time being very satisfied. You'll definitely have leftovers due to the serving sizes. Their menu is huge which helps with having a big family, so everyone gets what they want. Also, their staff is always so kind, patient and friendly. Definitely recommend this place!
This restaurant has a family vibe, it seems like some of the staff have worked there awhile. They were all friendly. I had the sliced beef brisket with Mac and cheese and green beans. The food looked average but tasted amazing. The portions were huge too. The green beans are drowned it butter, just an fyi. They have a huge menu and I want to go back and try other things.
This will definitely require multiple reviews as I couldn't resist the temptation of the chicken fried chicken on my first go around. I feel like you can't provide a fully accurate review of a rib house by having their chicken. Maybe it's just me. That said, the chicken fried chicken was solid. It by no means was the best, but definitely above your run of the mill chain version or a typical diner level. The service however was fantastic, although I could tell they thought it was odd I was there alone. The food was solid, my cup was always full, service was fast (despite there being a large-ish birthday party next to me), four stars. I'll see you next time Joe's Ribhouse.
